A SwisSkiSafari corporate retreat is not a conference room with a mountain view. It is a privately guided journey through the Alps, a hike in summer, or skis and snowshoes in winter, designed entirely around your company. The real conversations happen mid-hike, mid-descent, over a mountain lunch or in the quiet hour before breakfast.
A week like this does not happen quickly. It takes months to align calendars, coordinate arrivals, and shape an itinerary around who your team actually is. The planning is exactly why these weeks run seamlessly.
What unfolds is a week where strategy and connection stop competing for space. Ideas raised over dinner get tested again the next morning, out on the mountain. By the end of the week, teams haven’t just talked, they’ve bonded in a way no boardroom allows.
Every retreat we design is different, because every company is. But the pattern holds: put smart people in an extraordinary landscape, remove every logistical distraction, and the work takes care of itself.

A SwisSkiSafari corporate retreat is built on our speciality, hiking, skiing, and experiencing the mountain environment with experts. We believe this environment brings people together in ways a conference room cannot, creating bonds that carry back into how a team works at home.
A trip is shaped from hundreds of details: the right hotels and rooms, structured work sessions where you need them, a refuge terrace, a chalet library, and unstructured thinking time everywhere else. The itinerary decides where you go, the details decide how the week feels.
We chose the word safari for what it originally meant: a journey of discovery through wild and magnificent country. For a leadership team, that discovery is as much about each other as it is about the mountains.

We live in this region, and every retreat is planned from the ground up around the people taking it.
Every level welcome. From gentle valley walks and e-bikes to heli-hiking and glacier terrain, activities are matched to your people, not the other way around.
Months of planning lay the foundation, from designer chalets and historic mountain hotels to hidden restaurants only locals know, and our network across all three countries is what lets us adapt that plan once you are on the mountain. Day by day, we read how the group is doing, how the weather is behaving, and what the team needs, and we adjust accordingly.
“Thanks so much for everything you did to accommodate my limitations and yet allow me to enjoy the full experience. I’m very appreciative and realize how closely you were monitoring all of our performance and adjusting activities accordingly. Best of luck with your house, and I certainly hope our paths cross again!”

Call it a corporate retreat, an executive offsite, or team building in the Alps. However you name it, everything below is shaped by season, run as a winter retreat or a summer retreat.
Winter Retreat
Built around our signature guided ski safari, moving through the Alps on skis. Twenty years in this region and a network built over that time mean we can take your team safely into terrain and experiences they would never find, or reach, on their own. Because leadership teams are rarely uniform skiers, we design multi-activity winter retreats: part of the group skis with their guide while non-skiers travel the same route by snowshoe, dog sled, or winter trail with a guide of their own, and everyone reunites for the same long lunch, the same terrace, the same table each evening.

Summer Retreat
A true journey through three countries, not a base camp with day trips. Retreats can open with a board session in Geneva, Milan, or Zurich before the team disappears into the mountains, and draw on everything our summer safaris offer: guided hiking between three countries, heli-hiking to terrain few ever reach, e-biking through valley villages, and wellness days built around altitude thermal spas.
→ our Summer Safaris

Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa. Switzerland, Italy, and France sit close enough here that a single retreat can move between all three without ever feeling rushed. Your team can hold a morning session in Italy and toast the day in France.

How far in advance should we plan a corporate retreat?
The earlier the better. For a leadership team travelling from multiple countries, six to twelve months is realistic, our most recent executive retreat took nine months from first conversation to first hike. Shorter timelines are sometimes possible for smaller groups, but the best weeks are the ones given room to be designed properly.
How much does a corporate retreat in the Alps cost?
Every retreat is designed from scratch, so pricing depends on group size, season, accommodation level, and activities such as helicopter access. After our first conversation, we can give you an approximate costing, then work through the details together to finalise the trip and its price as a single package.
How many people can you host?
Most of our corporate retreats are for leadership teams of six to twenty. Larger groups are possible with additional guides and multi-property planning.
Can we combine real work sessions with activities?
Yes, though most teams find they don’t need to. If you do want dedicated meeting time or private working space, we build it in.
Can non-skiers join a winter retreat?
Absolutely, this is one of the things we do best. Non-skiers travel the same itinerary by snowshoe, dog sled, or guided winter walking, with their own dedicated guide, and the whole group comes together for lunches, evenings, and every shared moment.
Can the retreat start or end in a city?
Yes. Many teams open with meetings in Geneva, Milan, or Zurich before heading into the mountains, or close the week with a city evening before international departures. We build the whole arc, city to summit and back.
Do you handle international arrivals?
We do not book flights, your team organises those directly. What we do handle is everything from the moment you land, coordinating arrivals into Geneva, Zurich, or Milan, whatever the mix of flight times and airports, and taking care of every transfer from there.
