10 Apr Unique Privately guided hiking adventures in the Alps
There is something soothing and liberating about a privately guided hiking adventure in the Alps. The difference really is the guide. Their goal is to show you the smaller areas, the lesser-known corners of beauty and charm. Freedom comes from having the mountains to yourself and being able to plan each day according to the weather, the snow level and the state of the track. All of these decisions are taken by you and the guide, making each trip perfectly tailored to you.
Beautiful, blooming spring
The Alps are stunning at this time of year. The air is still fresh and the snowy peaks glint spectacularly against the Azur blue sky. In Spring we hike trails across the Alps which we know will not host any remaining snow. The trails are dry and the flora and fauna are just coming out to say hello. This is when a privately guided hiking adventure comes into its own. Many of the trails which we adopt at this time of year are not even on the map. We love seeing locals on the trails who are also eager to get outside and enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh air.
Finding balance on your privately guided hiking adventure in the Alps
First of all we need to know who is in your group and the aim of your trip. We like to know if everyone has a similar hiking ability and, crucially, we want to know what you like and what you don’t like. A quick call can generally help us get on the right path and start planning your trip.
Where to start and where to finish
Being based where Italy, France and Switzerland touch, we love to take you across borders in one trip. Why not start hiking on a trail under a beautiful mountain and finish in the mild climate of lakes which are the natural run-off from the Alps? Serene blue waters and stunning summits make a wonderful recipe.
How adventurous do you want to be?
Are you after the thrill of summiting your first 4000 meter mountain? Or the peace of hiking gentle winding routes from village to village? Maybe it is a bit of both. Working out what you are looking for will guide us to work out the best place to do it all. That is the fun part: putting it all together. We aim to help you see as much as possible over your hiking week. From wellness to hardcore mountain climbing, there is a lot to choose from in this area. And that doesn’t even take into account the history, culture and amazing food and wine which are part of every trip.
If you are looking for a unique, privately guided summer hiking adventure in the Alps, you have come to the right place. We are waiting to make your dream trip come true.
Warmest regards from the mountains,
Danielle
