Unique private ski trips have always been our passion. In fact, we only do private trips. We believe the best experience comes from being in a group that you know, trust and enjoy skiing with. Our aim is simple: to find you the best skiing. This is easiest when the whole group skis at the same level.

Welcome to our backyard

Of course we love great hotels and wonderful European dining in authentic off-the-beaten-path eateries. Because we live in the Alps we know where to find the the best coffee, cocktails, apres ski, helicopter pilots: you name it, we have done it. This is our backyard.

However, for the most unique private ski trip you need to start with the skiing. We try to never be bound by one resort or hotel.

Geography is king

We are based where Switzerland, Italy and France meet. This gives us a huge, unique playground to work in. Skiing across borders amongst the highest summits in Europe is spectacular. Plus, high altitude guarantees great snow. Being able to ski into a different country and culture each day takes most people by surprise. Things feel very close but culturally things are very different. Each day you can sample local cuisine, wine and way of life: this is what makes a private ski trip with Swisskisafari unique.

Climate change

We use this term a little differently. We experience changes in climate during a single week at altitude. With private groups, generally everyone is on the same page. This means changing the plan last minute to take advantage of the good snow is easy. We believe is it essential to follow the good conditions. The high summits here mean the weather is different from valley to valley and country to country, depending on wind and snow direction. Our guides love nothing better than following weather and snow. By the end of the week, it will have become your passion too.
